Cluj-Napoca is today one of the most important academic, cultural, industrial and business centres in Romania. Among others, it hosts the largest university in the country, Babes Bolyai Univerity, state-renowned cultural instutions, as well as the largest Romanian-owned commercial bank. Moreover, Cluj-Napoca is an important economic centre in Romania.
For what the IT sector is concerned, the city hosts more than 100 software companies, that supply on time and on buget IT services for international customers, thus being a great target for both offshoring and nearshore outsourcing contracts.
The city has an international airport reason for which it is highly accessible from all corners of the world. Cluj-Napoca is located at 2-3 hours flight distance from centers such as London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, etc.
Lightway Software's office is located in a newly constructed industrial park in the nothern part of the city, TETAROM, a facility dedicated to IT service providers.
