What is Open Source?
Open Source is a set of principles that promote the creation of goods with relaxed or inexistent intellectual property restrictions. In what software development is concerned, this leads to better quality, higher reliability, more flexibility and lower costs, all through incremental individual effort or collaboration.
As we are firmly convinced that Open Source means innovation and unveils a world full of choices which everyone can benefit from, we decided to adopt this business model. We strongly believe in its success, reason for which we decided to develop and contribute to Open Source projects.
Where do we contribute?
We currently focus all our contributions to the ICEfaces project, which is an integrated Ajax application framework that enables easy creation and deployment of thin-client rich Internet applications (RIA) in pure Java. The ICEfaces developer community is extremely vibrant, already exceeding 20,000 developers in 36 countries worldwide.
